Read Before Ordering a trampoline Net

Trampoline net, Safety Enclosure or Trampoline cage! -  are the most common names people use for this trampoline feature.

Simply put it is best described as the netting structure erected on poles around the trampoline and secured to the trampoline legs, with an access point at an edge through a zip or overlap entry.

Safety Net Enclosure

  • it can be difficult to find a matching part due to most department stores - Kmart, Target, BigW, and sports stores not offering spare parts for their trampolines.
  • Many of the department store trampoline nets and others ordered online are of poor material or not designed to last - Low UV tolerance
  • In many cases, if the leg count is the same as most regular trampoline suppliers then a substitute can be found
  •  it may mean buying a full net assembly with poles but it will save the rest of the trampoline from landfill.

There are other things to note to ensure you order the correct net other than just the size of your trampoline so don’t rush through the buying stage just yet.

Checklist to check on your trampoline before ordering

  • Know the size of your trampoline frame – the diameter / or length and width. Convert metric to imperial
  • An inside or outside net – ours are all outside nets – but can fit on many trampolines that have had an inside net when the original supplier doesn't offer spare parts.
  • How many net poles?
  • straight or curved poles - Straight is the same as ours but if curved then you will need to buy a full net assembly if ours is the only compatible retrofitting option you can find.
  • How many legs on trampoline “U” shaped?
  • If you have a rectangle trampoline then our nets will only suit if the legs are angled across each corner not running parallel under the trampoline.
  • Height of net – measure from the top of the metal frame to the top of the net pole
  • The diameter of the net pole - this is especially relevant if you need to order new clamps or foams
  • Check the condition of pole foams and caps at the same time. (Note 2 foams per pole)
  • Check the condition of net poles – you may need new ones.
  • Armed with all this information you will be better able to source the correct net for your trampoline
  • Rectangle trampoline safety nets.  net only or with poles clamps and foams
  • Round Trampoline Safety nets net only or with poles clamps and foams
  • Trampoline net enclosure hardware - poles, clamps, foams

If you have any more questions please just ask If you have one of our trampolines second hand particularly a rectangle one then best to call us to guide you with what to check for the upper net rail options. – call 03 52921100
