FAQs for Seesaws
Always check product specifications as these may change.
To keep your seesaw in top condition, conduct occasional safety checks of all bolts, screws and moving parts, tightening as needed. Clean seesaws with mild soapy water and simply wipe clean with a damp cloth. During extended wet weather, consider using a breathable waterproof cover or storing the seesaw in a shed or garage over winter.
A typical garden seesaw requires approximately 3-4 metres of length and 1-2 metres of width, an additional safety clearance of at least 1 metre on all sides should be considered.
Ideally, place them on grass, mulch, or soft play mats for extra safety. While they're stable enough for hard surfaces, a softer base helps cushion the bounce and spin.
