I hear you today while we're all still in Winter mode, saying, “Julie, it's crazy, that Christmas even be thought of, let alone you suggesting that I take any action; like setting up an online layby!"
However, thinking ahead and getting an early start, especially for the bigger priced items, is a financially viable way to manage and approach Christmas. A layby is a really great way to manage payments for the big things that you want to surprise your kids with or what they might be suggesting and hinting they want for Christmas.
I actually feel guilty typing this article up, but at the same time, it would be unfair of me not to mention and make sure our loyal followers were informed that we have a 6-month layby option on our website for all trampolines. Key trampoline layby points
- Online layby will present itself as a payment option in check out; only when you "register" as a customer on our website but not if you are checking out as a "guest".
- The layby is a 20% initial deposit (the deposit doesn’t include the freight component; just the trampoline and any accessories added).
- Layby term is for 6 months and we can hold a little longer if needed to be closer to Christmas if you find payments are finalised early.
- You may pay your trampoline off in regular or irregular installments via credit card, PayPal or bank EFT.
- You can swap between credit cards, PayPal and EFT if you choose, allowing for grandparents and other relatives to contribute with payments too.
- Pick up is an option with no pickup surcharge and we are open 7 days a week in the Geelong office and warehouse from Mid October until 3 pm Christmas Eve.

- We have our main warehouse in Geelong, Victoria where all phone calls and emails, are handled.
- All ordering and stock management for all of Australia and New Zealand is handled here.
- We hold the stock in-store in Geelong Victoria for you from the date of layby, including all Vuly products too (this way we can’t be caught out when Vuly suddenly run out of stock of any size and you have full peace of mind that on any day you decide you want to have your trampoline shipped or collected you can).

Deliver now pay later option
We have “Zip” and Afterpay as a payment options too which means you can have the trampoline before it is fully paid off. Simply go through the checkout and select "Zip" or Afterpay instead of credit card or PayPal.
4 basic steps to Layby your trampoline
- Add trampoline and accessories you want to cart
- "Register" at checkout. This will give you a password to access the website for future payments
- Choose "Layby" as a payment option for a 6-month term
- Make a payment of any amount over the minimum 20%, just edit the amount to what you want to pay.
When final payment is made
When your layby is paid in full, contact us to arrange when you would like the item delivered. The earlier the better to avoid any freight issues is good and you can read more about our Christmas delivery deadlines here.
