One of the most important parts of the trampoline is, of course, the jumping mat. If your mat has tears, holes or if you feel that it has been damaged by years of exposure to harsh sunlight, It's time for a new one.

Before buying a new mat you need to take accurate measurements. Not all manufacturers follow the same specifications. Different manufactures don't necessarily have the exact same frame sizes and yet they will round it off to the closest nominal size (e.g. 12ft). To help explain we will use a 12ft round trampoline as an example: A 12ft round trampoline might not actually be measured in at exactly 12ft. Different manufactures have some frames that actually measure less than 12ft, by up to 3-inches, as well as frames measuring in at over 12ft by up to 3 inches. Manufacturers will still call the this a 12ft round trampoline despite being measured just over or under exactly 12ft. This means there is no standard 12ft mat that fits all 12ft round trampolines.
Buying replacement parts from the manufacturer that you originally bought your trampoline from is the best way to know that the parts will fit.
- We have a trampoline replacement mat calculator (only suitable for round trampolines), that will take the stress out of ordering and give you confidence that the trampoline mat you order will fit your trampoline (accurate measuring is required).
- If you are ordering a new trampoline mat, it may be wise to order a few springs at the same time. You may find when replacing the mat a few springs are worn or over sprung. They can also get lost and a trampoline should never be used when springs are missing! A trampoline mat must always be 100% secured to the frame.
- You can find out more about measuring and ordering trampoline mats here - How to measure a round trampoline mat - How to measure a rectangle trampoline mat
Please note there is only a 25mm tolerance between your original mat and any other mats you replace it with, before it becomes too tight, too loose or needs new springs.
