Australian school holidays again.... Have you checked your trampoline
"Revamp the Tramp for Spring"
Hey, it’s Spring and the September school holidays are upon us already. I am writing this article is to remind owners of any brand trampoline to download our trampoline maintenance checklist, to check each part of your trampoline for any wear or damage. (The kids can do for you – If they are over 8/10 years old)
I think Spring is the best season in Australia, the weather is warming up but you still get some cool days to enjoy too before the heat waves are upon us.
Spring is also a great time for using the trampoline. Kids can get outside and be pretty active after the cold dark long 3rd term in school and not much jumping time had after school due getting dark so early each night.
With little opportunity to practice all their new moves and techniques learnt in classes such as Cheerleading, gymnastics, dance, trampolining etc. Spring holidays are a blessing to get out and get jumping. Or after the trip to the snow with some new snowboarding moves to perfect and practice before next Winter's snow trip.
Regular trampoline checks before each school holiday is a recommended habit for you to establish early on after purchasing a trampoline. In the earlier years as a trampoline owner, you’re just checking to make sure everything is tight and secure. By keeping everything aligned properly, wear and tear damage will be minimized and possibly avoided altogether.
Also checking regularly keeps all the safety features of your trampoline working at their best, in the aim of keeping your children and their friends as safe as is possible.
If after checking your trampoline against the checklist you do find some issues, please warn the children not to use again until repaired. For example, one spring missing off a trampoline only increases the likelihood of other springs failing as they are now all doing more work especially the ones either side of the missing spring.
Before school holidays it is also a good opportunity to go over the safety rules of the trampoline outlined in your manual.
Most parts are dual purpose and are included for reason. So if any parts are broken, faulty, deteriorated be sure to replace as soon as reasonably practical.
If you have one of our trampolines you will find all the spare parts in stock on the website at this link. If you are unsure on any aspect, please feel free to phone us 03 52921100 or email a photo with explanation or question.
If you have a different brand trampoline and need new spare parts, then please check carefully details of your parts against our photos and specifications before ordering. Some parts can be generic across brands others are only suited to one brand; meaning you will need to contact your manufacturer for your spare parts.
