Round trampolines have been a staple in our range for 12 years.
We have all our round GeeTramps Trampolines on display alongside our rectangles and the Vuly range of trampolines but it seems often the intention by families is to get a, round trampoline is changed after the kids have finished testing and jumping on them all and doing what I refer to the “Goldilocks test”. Families who change their minds from round to rectangle are mostly families with older kids, they typically buy a rectangle trampoline for the better bounce.
Round trampolines became popular mainly due to the lower price point in department stores, but now there are higher priced and good quality options around as well adding to the confusion for people trying to work out what is a good product, against what is good marketing.
It is true a rectangle trampoline does have a better bounce as the height kids get is from activating the springs at the width of the trampoline only; the difference on a round trampoline is your body weight needs to activate all the springs to generate bounce which is quite tiring and to get the equivalent height more weight is needed.
A round trampoline is still a great choice of a trampoline for many Australian families, from the small 8ft which is best suited to single-use by toddlers to 14ft ideal for larger families or highly social families, as best suited to multi-users. A 12ft is ideal for average back yard 2 kids scenario.
Why round trampolines are a good choice especially families with younger kids.
- Round trampolines remain a great first choice of a trampoline for little kids who want to run and jump, skip and wrestle. The kids tend to look safer running in circles on a round than up and down the middle of a rectangle.
- The bounce on a round trampoline is a more even experience when everyone is bouncing together regardless of weight.

- No access to springs by a unique design netting sewn to the front of the pads which is then buttonholed onto the mat using the springs.
- By having room inside the trampoline for the “extra” kids to sit on while a user takes their turn, the user is safer than if extra kids were standing or sitting on the mat. User experience is greatly impacted by extras being on the mat while they are trying to do tricks.

We have had this trampoline for nearly 7 years now and have just about outgrown it! It is still in great condition. The best part about buying from Web and Warehouse is getting replacement parts. A neighbors tree fell on it so we replaced the net and have just replaced it again due to the kids pulling out the foams on the poles and damaging it. We also replaced our padding after a couple of years as it started to perish from being in full sun but the new improved padding still looks new. The replacement parts mean we still have a great trampoline, If we'd bought another trampoline from somewhere else it would have been at the tip long ago. Their customer service is great too, highly recommend!

We are stoked by the new Tramp. It is very good quality and has great bounce. We only had a small space so this was a perfect addition., my sporty 17 yo trialled it out in store and was easy to make a choice in our budget. Even though this was in the lower end of the price range. It is great value and quality. This is the second tramp we have brought from these guys (the other one got sold with the old house as it was too big to bring with us) I highly recommend them.

We are extremely pleased with the 14ft in-ground tramp. It was easily assembled by two people, placed into its position using slings from an excavator bucket, surrounded with a timber retaining wall, fill and grass. Looks great.
