New Zealand Ambassador - Lara

Hi I’m Lara, one of the New Zealand GeeTramp Ambassadors!

I started gymnastics when I was 7 years old and continued recreational training until I was 11. It was about this time that I made my Instagram account @laraakkayaa (it was called @/gymnast_lara) On my account where I would post short edits (about 8-15secs) of me doing gymnastics/tumbling.

I then found out about a new cheerleading club where I live and decided to join. I loved the practices and competitions.I even got to go to the USA for a cheer comp!

My Instagram grew very fast and before I knew it I had about 50,000!

Some people even began recognizing me in public.

I slowly branched out into doing sponsorships and promotions for companies (mostly activewear & swimwear) and I really enjoyed this because it was giving me a renewed purpose to film videos.

I now have over 70,000 followers and many more sponsorships including Web and Warehouse! I can’t wait to promote their amazing trampolines heaps over the summer!
