Comparing Rectangle Trampoline Sizes - With Declan Crowther

"Declan Crowther compares 9x14ft and 10x17ft Rectangle Trampolines

Declan is an Australian customer of ours who is highly skilled Gtramper and fortunate to have both our 10x17ft with high bounce mat and 9x14ft with high bounce mat and Aus steel springs. He is approx 40kg and is 13yo.

As he has both and likes both for different reasons I asked him to write a “review” comparing each of them for me which he did and for his efforts we did send him a Tee Shirt to say thanks.

So Basically the 9x14ft is a lot better with no double bounce and is also a lot better with double bounce probably because it is a smaller trampoline and you are closer to the springs.

The good thing about the 10x17ft is that you have a lot of room to do things and can feel safer in that aspect but it doesn’t really affect me a lot.

Also with the 9x14ft, you tend to keep more height in kabooms and codys with no double bounce and with double bounce. The Aus steel springs on the 9x14ft makes it feel looser and bouncier which makes it more forgiving on your knees and just feels better to bounce on.

The 9x14ft with the Australian Galvanized steel springs is also better to jump on if you are light because you can easily get the height and keep height with no double bounce. Whereas the 10x17ft is harder to get height no double bounce if you are small and light and it takes more effort to jump on.

9x14ft is overall a better trampoline in my opinion because it does everything better apart from having a lot of jumping room but because of my size that doesn’t affect me.

Julie's Comments -

Declan sums up exactly how we sell to customers based on the pros and cons. I think if we come back to this in 3 years time when Declan is 16years old so a lot heavier and taller, he will be very much in the zone of preferring the 10x17ft. Which I hope in 2021 he is still a keen Gtramper and we will be able to revisit and get his feedback. For now please follow him at @declan_crowther on Instagram.
