Can an in-ground rectangle trampoline be used above ground?

Yes, simply our in-ground trampolines can be used above ground because they do have legs.

However, do note the following-

• Our trampolines are certified AS4849 2015
•  The Australian standards prevent us from selling a trampoline without a safety net unless it is an in-ground trampoline.
• Injuries from coming off a trampoline without a net are documented to be more significant than injuries on a trampoline with a net.
• Our trampoline design is such that the legs are an important part for ensuring a reliable quality bounce; it is important the in-ground trampolines also have legs.
• When a trampoline is sold as an in-ground it is our legal understanding and belief it will be installed as such.

Why would you want to use an in-ground trampoline above ground?

•  Some customers choose to use a trampoline without a net, so they could quite easily purchase a trampoline with a net and simply not install it.
• However, an in-ground trampoline is an opportunity to purchase without a net but with the legs and use it “old school” style.
• Customers tell us they like to put the trampoline on its side without a net to mow, for parties, move in different areas of the garden, change of seasons, etc.
• Parkour kids like to do what can be deemed quite reckless, jumping off roofs, directly off the trampoline onto mattresses or into pools, etc. (Do note - these sorts of activities are not how a manufacturer intended the trampoline to be used do so at own risk)
• Having no netting makes these activities easier. (certainly not safer)
