Trampoline Meetup July 2018 (Sat 30th June and Sunday 1st July)
Trampoline meetups or also known as -Gtramp meetups; are made by having kids that not only know similar tricks but are all at different levels of skill with a “willing to have a go” attitude. Meetups set the perfect mood to give everyone the confidence to try new tricks and combos. Having people that know how to double bounce properly makes attempting harder tricks easier. Gtramp meets ups are like a party; they are chill, fun, and everyone is super excited about the day/days and all they really require is a trampoline.
Gee-Tramp and Web and Warehouse will host a weekend meet up in the July school holidays 2018
Dates - Saturday 30th of June and Sunday 1st July.
Address – 80-84 Tucker St Breakwater 3219 Geelong Victoria
Times – Sat 2pm-5pm Sun 10-3pm (Sunday option to go to Airodrome at the end)
- The meet up we will host in 2018 will run over 2 days but with 2 groups of kids to maximise the opportunity for locals.
- The kids coming from interstate will be invited to come for both days but anyone travelling up to 2 hours will only be invited for one of the 2 days.
- The split days will enable the local and Melbourne kids all a better chance of being able to come to a day and meet the interstate kids especially.
- We do need to manage the risks of having so many kids together and assess the weather closer to the day.
- If the weather is to be good we will add more local kids at the last moment as we will be able to use both the indoor and outdoor display trampolines.
- We will invite some big name / skilled kids and the rest are drawn out of the hat in late May. (typically sponsored kids)
- To be able to come to the meet up we will make a post asking for kids who can come on the supplied dates.
- We will then announce in a post all the invited participants by Saturday 2nd June.
- Parents are welcome to stay for as long or as short a time as they wish just please come in to meet us.
- A public indemnity form will need to be signed by each parent and participant and emailed to us prior to the day.
- We have first aid and working with children cert.
- Drinks and snacks/lunch is provided.
- Kids are encouraged to film, photograph on the day to share on social media.
- We also do lives via Instagram on the day.
There will be many more kids wanting to attend than we can invite and we know there will be many disappointed kids; for this, we are truly sorry.
We will be as fair as possible in the way we do the invites please respect the final outcome and know we will host another one during the September Victorian School holidays.
This year we are happy to announce we will be adding further meets ups, including 1 in Brisbane and Auckland and a possible 2nd one in New Zealand later in the year too.
Julie :)
