How did we come to sell trampolines?
Growing up in Australia with trampolines has been very much a part of our family’s life from the beginning. My parents gave me my childhood trampoline as an "extra" wedding present as I was still a keen jumper in my early 20's and they had no need for it once I left home!
After having 4 kids all use that same trampoline there came a time when it was apparent we would need to buy or acquire a new one!
13 Years ago we teamed up with some friends in a business researching and sourcing “family lifestyle products” including trampolines.
We knew what was available to the Australian consumer was either ridiculously expensive or cheap and nasty in the retail world and together we knew we could design, develop, import and sell quality products for families like ourselves.
Together as business partners for 3 years we then needed to define our own speciality and individual business direction, this is where 10 years ago (2019) our own family business Trampoline Web and Warehouse began.
At that point, we thought we had a great trampoline that was far superior to department store brands.
What we have today has changed notably in appearance and durability and bounce have improved significantly.
This past 10 years (2019) has been time to get to know trampolines intimately and to really learn how kids use trampolines. When potential customers phone us or visit our display (where 18 trampolines are set up - ready to be tested), we take time to really find out about each family and who and how they will be using the trampoline and what restrictions they have in terms of space and budget.
Many people think big is best but since we have had all our trampolines on display it has been most effective in showing kids and parents alike that big isn't always best (this is a relief to many parents!)!
Some kids need/want a high bounce for their trampoline-ing others, need space and a low bounce – Gymnastics, Trampoline-ing, Cheerleading or simply good crazy back yard jumping.
Here we stand 10 years on (2019) – a bigger importer of quality family trampolines, designed with Australian families and the Australian climate in mind, more knowledgeable salespeople, with the huge support of our factory and an ongoing passion and vision to take our trampolines further.
