Vuly Trampolines - Which is best for you?

Thunder - Vuly2 - Classic Overview Review

We have been proud resellers of Vuly Trampolines Australia now for 1 year and feel qualified to comment on our own observations and feedback from the many visitors and customers to our trampoline display; where we have 18 trampolines set up for bounce testing by kids and adults.

Initially, we let the Vuly trampolines sell themselves but after one year we feel we can better guide families into making the right choice between the 3 Vuly Trampoline styles.

Vuly Classic Trampoline

  • The name says it all - the Vuly Classic Trampoline is Vuly's first revision of the traditional trampoline.
  • It has an inside net to keep little fingers away from springs, a low set zip entry to minimize the risk of little people falling out. Durable double-sided pads. It also includes a free tent. But no ladder.
  • Inclusive of 8ft 10ft 12ft and 14ft sizes. We find that families with little people buy this trampoline range. It is a difficult trampoline for adults or older kids to get into easily due to the low height of the zip entry.
  • As happens with an inside net there is less play space inside and kids if inclined to be a tad adventurous they will make their way around the outside of the trampoline via the outside pads.
  • This trampoline has good quality materials and you expect parts to last 3-5 years before needing replacing - eg net, pads, mat.

Vuly 2 Trampolines

  • A beautifully considered trampoline, the design shape, colours, entry, the tent, and safety skirt really make this a good looking trampoline.
  • Good looking black powder coated frame with sleek streamline appearance.
  • Families with kids up to ages 10-12 buy this trampoline as the lighter kids really like the bounce of the spring trampoline.
  • Its safety net is an inside net - meaning no access to springs and has a beautifully designed zipperless entry so kids don't need to remember to do the zip up!
  • The entry is better for older kids and adults than the classic trampoline.
  • The feet on the single leg design of the frame do tend to bury themselves into the ground and the trampoline must be moved to mow as there is a lower frame ring preventing the mower from being pushed under.
  • Again this trampoline has reversible pads and a tent included.
  • Do note the tents for all Vuly Trampolines are "fair weather" friends only and not designed to be put up as permanent shade shelters or rain protectors. The interiors with the tent on do get very hot so don't leave small children unattended.
  • The life of the parts are yet to be fully tested in the Australian climate - you can anticipate likely needing to replace parts at approx 4-5 years.
  • The bounce is the same as a standard good quality trampoline.

Vuly Thunder Trampoline

  • This trampoline is designed in such a unique way that upon first seeing it you wonder why you didn't think of it!
  • Highly engineered and designed to launch the humble backyard trampoline into the 21st century.
  • With so much considered and designed to streamline the look and at the same time meet trampoline safety issues head-on.
  • There are 3 sizes for the Thunders – Medium 10ft, Large 12ft, and Extra Large 14ft.
  • A soft edge trampoline eliminates the need for safety pads and traditional coil springs.
  • Instead, a refreshing looking leaf spring designed frame that holds the jumping mat aloft with the safety netting sewn onto the mat.
  • This safety feature of the mat and net sewn together can be a costly replacement should the mat get a hole in it and need replacing.
  • This trampoline although all pieces do go together nicely and are very well made; it isn't an easy trampoline to assemble; even with the unique leaf spring fitting tool. Definitely a 2 man job to do.
  • You are best to have some softfall or astroturf under the Thunder trampolines as they are too heavy to move on a regular basis to mow the grass underneath.
  • Families who purchase these trampoline, generally speaking, have older kids who do achieve a nice bounce out of it simply due to being heavier.
  • Families who really like the look of the new design also purchase surprisingly even if their kids get little bounce out of it.
  • The Thunder Trampolines are beautifully packaged and labelled so to not damage any of the powder coated frame pieces.

Our overall review of Vuly Trampolines

  • Vuly Trampolines are great products well engineered, packaged and go together very nicely. (if at times seeming a little difficult)
  • Initially, Vuly had some problems with their product distribution, powder coating, tent design, mats stitching and packaging. As a company in the face of adversity, they showed how very customer focussed they are and listened to customer feedback and improved their products and services.
  • When a company grows as fast as they have, there are bound to be teething issues but they have shown great strength to improve on many fronts all at once.
  • Their marketing has been outstanding that their brand recognition is wide and extensive.
  • Our customers who have had need of the warranty department have only given us back positive feedback of resolution.

You can find our trampoline display in Geelong Victoria, Australia and if you are within a convenient drive you are most welcome to come to see and test bounce all 3 Vuly Thunders, 3 Vuly2 and 1 Classic Trampoline - from Mid October each year we are open 7 days a week until Christmas then revert back to 6 day trading weeks.

We also have a google map - Trampoline Display Walk Through for a virtual experience.
